A Catholic Summer Camp for Teens Ages 12-17
What is Camp Veritas?
Camp Veritas is a one-week sleep-away pilgrimage experience for teens going into 7th–12th grade / 1st Year through 6th Year (ages 12–17) The recipe is play-and-pray with a full immersion in the Catholic faith through sacraments and activities.
Camp Veritas is a Eucharistic-Centered ministry within the Catholic Church that draws teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. At Camp Veritas we seek to create an environment where teenagers grow as joyful, intentional disciples of Jesus Christ through the sacramental life of the Church and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
Camp Veritas provides a journey to Christ and a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith through an intense fellowship immersion with other youth. Daytime activities focus on fun team-building activities such as swimming, sports, and much more! Evening activities include focused spiritual instruction and discussion, energetic music for praise and worship, daily Mass, testimonies, and Adoration.
Founded in 2008 by Ryan and Elizabeth Young, Camp Veritas was created in response to the crisis of young people leaving the Catholic Church after Confirmation. We are completely volunteer-run, a family-founded ministry, and a recognized non-profit approved by the USCCB for listing in the Official Catholic Directory.
Why Choose Camp Veritas?
Eucharistic-Centered
Primary focus on Eucharistic-centered worship and evangelization with orthodox teaching in line with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the teachings of the Magisterium.
Interaction with Clergy
In the USA, led by Priests from the Archdiocese of New York and surrounding dioceses. In Ireland, led by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, diocesan Priests, and supported by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal and other Religious orders.
Safeguarding
In the USA, all adult volunteers submit to background checks and Safer Spaces training approved by diocesan authorities. In Ireland, volunteers pass Garda vetting and complete training in compliance with Children First legislation.

Camp Veritas provides a unique opportunity for priests, religious, and clergy to minister directly to Catholic youth in a focused, intensive setting.
The structured spiritual program is led by Priests and supported by various Religious orders, creating a rich environment for evangelization.
